These are the 10 industries Abstrakt's SDRs call for cleaning work, with how many of each are in the Portland-Vancouver metro and who to ask for. Compared with the U.S. as a whole, Portland-Vancouver leans toward senior living and skilled nursing (2.60x), colleges and universities (1.59x) and private K-12 schools (1.36x). Buildings per contractor: Portland and nearby markets
883 janitorial services establishments are based in the Portland-Vancouver metro. That is 27 fewer than a year ago. When a contractor closes or sells, its customers go looking for a new one. The trade is 31% more concentrated than the U.S. as a whole. Facility and office managers here already hear from commercial cleaning companies, and a specific reason to talk beats a generic pitch. 3.0 larger cleaning-buying buildings per contractor puts Portland 79 of 100 markets. That is toward the crowded end, so growth here comes mostly from displacing incumbents at renewal. If you can serve Sacramento, it has more larger buildings per contractor than Portland.

How Abstrakt runs it
What your Portland appointment-setting program looks like
Your outsourced sales development team works the numbers above under your name. Here is the plan for Portland commercial cleaning companies.
01
Build the Portland list
Abstrakt's records already hold 2,327 eligible cleaning targets in the Portland-Vancouver metro. Your ideal customer profile becomes a target list drawn from those records and the 2,688 larger cleaning-buying buildings in the metro, starting in Multnomah County and Washington County. That is about 1.6 times the 1,500-account list a Foundation program starts with, so the list is ranked Tier 1 first and worked in waves.
02
Reach the person who signs
For cleaning, that starts with the plant manager at manufacturing plants, then two or three contacts at each of the 856 Tier 1 sites. Calls, email and LinkedIn run together; Growth adds direct mail and intent data.
03
Call every month, with the right message
Your SDR calls all year. With no strong weather season, contract end date and rebid window sets the message, and your SDR learns it account by account on the first call.
04
Book only qualified meetings
Every meeting passes Right Company, Right Contact and Right Timing, and arrives with the scope notes, the incumbent and the contract end date.
05
See every dial
The Results Portal shows every call, email, conversation and booked meeting in the Portland program, around the clock.
Guaranteed. We agree the activity or qualified-appointment number in writing before launch. If we miss it, we keep working at no additional cost until we hit it.
