The situation
When Century lost a sales rep, leadership faced the classic build-or-buy decision: recruit, hire, and train a replacement — or outsource the function entirely. Meanwhile, the referral network that had built the business had clearly hit its ceiling.
What we built
Abstrakt built the prospect list from scratch — verified decision-makers, validated contact information — and ran a four-channel outbound program across phone, email, LinkedIn, and direct mail with coordinated messaging. Century didn’t have to hire, train, or manage anyone.
The numbers
Still in year one: 58 appointments booked, 7 deals closed, and $415,000 in new business revenue — including a $25,000-per-month healthcare contract, a multi-location facility agreement that expanded beyond the initial quote, and a $14,000+ contract won on follow-up timing.
Why it worked
Commercial cleaning contracts change hands when the incumbent slips or the contract renews — windows you can’t predict from a referral network. Consistent outreach meant Century was already in the conversation when those windows opened.
