Buildings per contractor: Grand Rapids and nearby markets
80 nonresidential plumbing and HVAC contractors are based in the Grand Rapids-Wyoming metro. 4 more opened over the past year, so buyers are fielding new names. The trade is at about the national concentration. 18.8 larger HVAC-buying buildings per contractor puts Grand Rapids 4 of 100 markets, and 1 of 3 in Michigan. How Abstrakt runs it
What your Grand Rapids appointment-setting program looks like
Your outsourced sales development team works the numbers above under your name. Here is the plan for Grand Rapids commercial mechanical contractors.
01
Build the Grand Rapids list
Abstrakt's records already hold 1,763 eligible HVAC targets in the Grand Rapids-Wyoming metro. Your ideal customer profile becomes a target list drawn from those records and the 1,502 larger HVAC-buying buildings in the metro, starting in Kent County and Ottawa County. That is close to the 1,500-account list a Foundation program starts with, so one program can cover the whole metro.
02
Reach the person who signs
For HVAC, that starts with the plant engineer at manufacturing plants, then two or three contacts at each of the 650 Tier 1 sites. Calls, email and LinkedIn run together; Growth adds direct mail and intent data.
03
Call every month, with the right message
Your SDR calls all year. Apr–Jun, Sep–Oct is the push for bid meetings ahead of peak service (Nov–Mar, Jul–Aug); the other months lead with service problems, renewals and budgets, so the pipeline never stops filling.
04
Book only qualified meetings
Every meeting passes Right Company, Right Contact and Right Timing, and arrives with the equipment notes, the incumbent and the renewal month.
05
See every dial
The Results Portal shows every call, email, conversation and booked meeting in the Grand Rapids program, around the clock.
