How Abstrakt runs it
What your Columbia appointment-setting program looks like
Your outsourced sales development team works the numbers above under your name. Here is the plan for Columbia commercial paving contractors.
01
Build the Columbia list
Your ideal customer profile becomes a target list drawn from the 1,018 larger paving-buying buildings in the metro, starting in Richland County and Lexington County. That fits inside the 1,500-account list a Foundation program starts with, leaving room to add Charleston if your crews travel.
02
Reach the person who signs
For paving, that starts with the store or regional facilities manager at retail stores, then two or three contacts at each of the 251 Tier 1 sites. Calls, email and LinkedIn run together; Growth adds direct mail and intent data.
03
Call every month, with the right message
Your SDR calls all year. Dec–Feb is the push for bid meetings ahead of the work season (Mar–Nov); the other months lead with service problems, renewals and budgets, so the pipeline never stops filling.
04
Book only qualified meetings
Every meeting passes Right Company, Right Contact and Right Timing, and arrives with the lot condition, the last sealcoat date and the budget timing.
05
See every dial
The Results Portal shows every call, email, conversation and booked meeting in the Columbia program, around the clock.
Guaranteed. We agree the activity or qualified-appointment number in writing before launch. If we miss it, we keep working at no additional cost until we hit it.
Exclusive. We run one program per trade per market, so we will not run paving appointment setting for a direct competitor in Columbia.

Scout Motors Production Center and Supplier Park
Under construction
An electric and hybrid vehicle plant in Blythewood, Richland County, built to produce up to 200,000 vehicles a year, with a separate $300 million supplier park on a site of more than 1,100 acres.
The plant is in equipment testing while supplier park roads, parking lots and rail lines go in, so paving and electrical work continue through 2026, and a 4,000-job campus creates large ongoing cleaning and facility maintenance demand.
The multi-phase rebuild of the Malfunction Junction interchange area in Lexington and Richland counties, with Phase 3A frontage road and utility work and Phase 3C I-20 widening and bridge replacement starting in 2026.
New phases starting in 2026 keep paving, roadway lighting and landscaping restoration work going for the rest of the decade.
New Dutch Fork Elementary School (Lexington-Richland School District Five)
Procurement and design
A new elementary school of under 90,000 square feet for about 550 students on Hollingshed Road in Irmo, with 160 visitor parking spaces, funded by the district's $240 million 2024 bond.
A new school on a wooded site means general contractor, roofing and site paving bids once design wraps, then flooring and finish work ahead of opening.
Health systems, campuses, large employers and industrial parks hold the biggest concentrations of buildings in the metro. Each fact links to its source, checked 2026-10.
